if you are interested in role playing les misérables, which no one seems to be any more, since the les mis rpg groups on yahoo have dwindled, then please join this list! the name is an abbreviation, chosen since all the best names for groups had already been taken. it stands for "mme javert's les misérables role play game." i tried restarting it, but 2 of the remaining 4 members haven't responded. so i will take the liberty of saying the only characters taken are javert (mine), jehan, and joly. i encourage all les mis fans to join this list. i am a pretty open-minded moderator. most things go. :-)

this is a list for fans of martin guerre, the musical by boublil and schonberg. martin guerre is not currently playing on broadway. in fact, i don't think it's playing anywhere. there have been four versions made, and two of them have recordings available. it is a discussion group, although i am open to the idea of martin guerre rpg. the first year or so that this list was in existence, it had 30+ members and actually had regular posts. but after a while, posting and participation decreased. it's practically dead now. anyone who likes martin guerre at all is encouraged to join and revive this list.

this list was created very recently. it is meant to be a discussion list for the character chauvelin from the scarlet pimpernel. i am a member of the javert list, which is kind of the same deal, only for javert, and went looking for a chauvelin list similar to it. i didn't find one, so i created it. apparently there is another one and no one has come near my group. so please, if you are a chauvelin/scarlet pimpernel fan, join this group!

i think this is the oddest of all my list. it's meant to be an "anything goes" role playing list. and i mean anything. be it musicals or soap operas or bands or jmystical/occult stuff or medieval/historic times or even anime. i think the only exceptions are established rpg's like dungeons and dragons and stuff like that. you know, live action rpg's that you play in real life and stuff. you know what i mean. but i guess i should have chosen a topic. um, if you happen to be interested in role playing anything in particular, or you have a favorite role play topic/genre, please join this list and get us started!

if you are an astronomy major, or are going to be, and are planning to become an astronomer in the future, after you've finished school, then this is the list that you should join. it is meant to be a discussion list. topics can include: any and all fields of astronomy; experiences members have had with astronomy; feelings and comments on studying to become an astronomer; the pros and cons of specializing in a certain field of astronomy; even the trials and tribulations of college life. any other related topics are welcome also! very very recently created, even more so than the chauvelin_list. please join if the above applies to you!
